On a beautiful September day in 2022, I decide to climb a very large mountain in February 2023.This idea is coming to reality now that I have climbed Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain! I began journaling in the chilly tents of the bush with a pen and a book (saving even my 3% battery hehe). Some days were so chilly that my fingers turned into icicles! It was preferable to keep them warm in the sleeping bag with hand warmers. So today is April 1st, 2023, and I begin! You can count on me to start writing this today. I’ve spent 59 years on Earth and I’m now getting the hang of this extremely intricate endeavour!

Someone made up a special saying about this month and I love it – ‘April hath put a spirit of youth in everything.’ That’s just me in a nutshell!
